At Dempsey Cranes and Construction we firmly believe in supporting the community that supports us. Our Locals Matter, is our community donation program. Every six months, we support three groups who are nominated by you in our local community. Through your ‘donation’, from purchasing our services and giving us customer feedback, you have the power to split $500 between three groups. The community group with the most votes receives $300 and the other two receive $100 each. Everybody wins! We’d like to thank our community for their support as we continue to grow.
It’s simple. If you are a customer of Dempsey Cranes and Construction, we invite you to complete Our Feedback form. Included at the bottom of this form is the field ‘Do you have a local community group you would like us to support?’. Simply complete this field and submit the form.
We’re proud to provide regular support, through cash donations, prizes and in-kind support, to a range of local sporting, community and not for profit events. This includes, but is not limited to: Evelyn Tigers, Ravenshoe Tigers Football, Mt Garnet Rodeo, Biboohra Bull Ride, Tinaroo Barra Bash, Torimba Festival and Ravenshoe SS.
Our team, led from the front by our owners and operators Chris and Jayme Dempsey, can be found regularly supporting, attending and participating in a range of local community and sporting events. We’re proud and active members of our local community and look forward to seeing you around.
At Dempsey Cranes and Construction, locals matter. That’s why we prioritise local employment, as and when positions vacant become available. Our team receive appropriate and regular on the job training and refresher courses. All employment opportunities are promoted through local media.
Dempsey Cranes and Construction is based on the Tablelands. We travel throughout Far North Queensland, North and Western Gulf, Northern Territory, Torres Strait and New Guinea, working on public and private projects, large and small. Our innovative mobile camps provide operational efficiency and environmental protection. We’re committed to our community and invite you to join us, as a client or part of our team.
